A Little Update: Shops, Stitches, Stars, and New Places to Gather
I have been busy lately—quietly, steadily, and with rather more tabs open than any sensible person should admit.
Over the past several months, I have been bringing together the different parts of my work: sewing, journal making, astrology, tarot, teaching, writing, and the long habit of following ideas wherever they lead. What once felt like several separate paths is beginning to look much more like one larger body of work.
At the center of it is a love of story, pattern, symbolism, and the handmade.
Thread & Page Crafts on Etsy
My Etsy shop, Thread & Page Crafts, is home to my handmade journals, bags, pouches, and textile pieces.
I work with fabric, paper, thread, ephemera, and found materials to create objects that are both useful and full of character. Some pieces begin with upcycled upholstery fabric or reclaimed materials; others grow from carefully chosen papers, vintage-inspired images, pockets, tags, stitching, and unexpected details.
The shop continues to grow as I add new work, including journals, ephemera kits, origami-style bags, tote bags, zippered pouches, and other small handmade pieces.

A New Ko-fi Page
I have also opened a Ko-fi page as a simple way for readers, clients, students, and friends of my work to offer support.
There is no membership requirement, no locked tower full of secret content, and no elaborate system to navigate. It is simply a place where anyone who values my creative, scholarly, or consulting work can make a one-time contribution.
Support through Ko-fi helps with materials, research resources, website expenses, and the many small costs involved in maintaining independent creative work.

YouTube: The Making Process
I am developing a YouTube channel where I can share more of the actual making process behind my journals, bags, and paper crafts.
I plan to include demonstrations, studio projects, works in progress, material ideas, and a closer look at how individual pieces come together. Many handmade objects carry a much longer story than a finished photograph can show, and YouTube gives me space to share that story.

Instagram will be the place for more frequent glimpses of what I am making, reading, studying, and developing.

Substack: Writing, Reflection, and Deeper Exploration
I am also building a Substack for longer-form writing.
This will give me room to explore the ideas that connect my work: history, creativity, symbolism, astrology, tarot, books, seasonal reflection, and the meaning we make through both objects and stories.
Some posts may be practical, some scholarly, some personal, and some may begin with a single curious thought and wander off into the historical underbrush. That is often where the interesting things are hiding.

Bringing It All Together
These new spaces are not separate projects so much as different doors into the same house.
Etsy is where the finished handmade work lives. YouTube will show more of the process. Instagram will offer regular glimpses and updates. Substack will hold the longer stories and ideas. Ko-fi offers a way to support the work itself.
This website will remain the central place where all of these threads come together, including information about my sewing, journal making, astrology, tarot consultations, writing, and current projects.
